My pick of the week is from Roy & Nancy from Our Peaceful Planet

I love these DIY Candle Holders! This DIY is right up my alley for creating new candlesticks for tablescapes!

A Red & Gold Poinsettia Christmas Tablescape

Well hello there!  I'll bet you thought I fell off the face of the earth!  Nope, all is well. I am settling in at my new job and am finding time to start posting here again!

Life has been so hectic I didn't even set a Thanksgiving tablescape this year.  It was just Mr. B and me so, it worked out fine. But, I really wanted to set a festive Christmas Tablescape and in spite of being out of practice, I think I did alright.
Red & Gold Ponsettia Christmas Tablescape
Poinsettias purchased on Black Friday at Home Depot were just one of my inspirations for the table.

I had hoped to get pink or white ones but they were already gone by the time I got there but I think someone was watching out for me because the red ones are still so beautiful and vibrant!

I used my gold mirrored tray from World Market and set up a pretty centerpiece with the poinsettias, antlers, some greenery, pinecones and battery tealights.

I am so thankful my buddy Christine from Rustic & Refined sent me the antlers last year!  I just loved using them on a tablescape them again!

I used my standby red candlesticks on each side of the centerpiece. I found the red battery operated candles at IKEA a few weeks ago and I am in love with them!!

Another inspiration for the table were the plaid chargers I snatched up at Michael's on a recent daily deal!
Red & Gold Ponsettia Christmas Tablescape
Topped with a thrift store vintage Johnson Bros dinner plate and a holly themed salad plate from the Corelle outlet they are the perfect compliment to the holiday setting. I also mimicked the gold from the centerpiece by using my vintage gold plated flatware.

In keeping with the theme, I placed a poinsettia ornament in a trifle bowl at each setting.

I purchased the poinsettia napkin rings about a decade ago on clearance at Pier 1.  They still had the price tag on them when I pulled them out to use on this table.  I paid $2.98 each. The green napkins almost perfectly match the green in the chargers.

And since I like a little whimsy on my tables, I added this pair of nutcracker salt & pepper shakers to the table. They do make me smile!

So for being a little at rusty setting a festive table, I think I did a fine job!

You're Gonna Love It Tuesday

Welcome to this week's linky party! This is a fun time for you to  link up your posts and creations, and maybe even be inspired by others! And with less than 2 weeks until the big day, I think we all can use some inspiration, amiright?
Let's party it up!

It's Time For
The Features of the Week

The most viewed link from last week comes from Giftie Etcetera
Kristy, very comically, shares with us a gift list for those that are hard to shop for. And just for reference, I'd totally take that copper mail box as a gift!

My favorite pick of the week is from Vintage, Paint, and More.
Cathy took us on a tour of her front porch decorated for the holidays and I totally did a swoon job when I saw this cut little wagon! You must go see the rest of her porch!

If you have been featured here, or over at my fabulous co-host Kim's blog, (she has different Pick's of the Week so go check it out...was it you?) make sure to grab an I've Been Featured button here.

You're Gonna Love It~ Last Anything Goes for 2015

Yep!  You read that right!  We are slowly but surely saying a fond adieu to 2015. In just a matter of a few short weeks, we will be greeting 2016, for better or worse. Thank you so much for your understanding of the condensed version of the party last week.  I was just feeling so overwhelmed but I am back on track and so ready to party!  So, let's do just that!

It is the FIRST MONDAY OF THE MONTH.. which means: Anything Goes! Feel free to link up your sponsored content, etsy stores, business site (design, photography, furniture.. you name it)  ANYTHING.  We want to spread the love!

I promised I would be showcasing more this week to make up for my lack of planning last week so, the most popular link the previous week was:
Christmas Tree Ornament Advent Calendar by Major Hoff Takes A Wife
There are projects just like this one that make me wish my sons weren't grown men but, little boys again so that we could do this!

The most popular post from last week was the adorable Christmas Chalkboard from Muchmore Creative
Isn't this just perfect for the holidays?  Love it!

Now, my favorite pick from the previous week was: The Gold, Silver & White Rustic Glam Table from the gals at Home On the Corner
I love the centerpiece with the thrifted deer and wooden tray!! And c'mon, you know I'm a sucker for a pretty tablescape!

My pick from last week is: Beautiful Centerpieces From Supermarket Flowers by One Mile Home Style
Stephanie is a girl after my own heart!  She knows you don't have to spend big bucks to create big style!
