Dig, Drop, Done And Curbside Chaos!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Bulbs. Dig, Drop, Done. for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
I know that Summer is just about over but that doesn’t mean we have to stop gardening. In fact, Fall is the perfect time to to plant for next Spring!  Bulbs are the ideal way to bring instant Spring color to your home & garden.  Daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, all are planted in Fall and begin to bloom in late winter and  early spring. Don't know what to plant or how? I’ve found the best place to visit is Dig Drop Done. Here anyone can be a “gardener” with bulbs.
I wish my name were Ruth and I had won the Curbside Chaos contest! Ruth won a $5,000 yard makeover! Watch the video here, Curbside Chaos and see how they loaded her up with bulbs, perennials and shrubs.

Be still my heart!  I can't even imagine the fun I would have with that prize!
At the Dig, Drop Done website you can also find the ladies and see which one is most like you.
I found that I am most like Evelyn.  Evelyn is an empty nester just like me with more time on her hands to spend gardening.
At Curbside Chaos you can use the Garden Guru Tool. This tool will help you figure out which bulb is perfect for your home depending upon where you live!
Just follow these easy steps:
Step 1 – Pick your Country
Step 2 – Pick your location within that Country

Step 3 – Choose the type of bulb you want to grow

Step 4 – Check out the Planting Guide that shows you how to plant your bulbs.
And voila! You now know what you should and shouldn't plant and how to plant them! Easy peasy!
What's great about bulbs too is, that even if you don't have a yard, you can grow them indoors!  I plan to pot up some narcissus so that they bloom in time for the winter holidays and bring Spring inside during those cold snowy moths.  Bulbs are seriously the easiest plant to grow!
Right now every share on Twitter with the hashtag #CurbsideChaos, "Bulbs. Dig, Drop, Done." will donate $1.00 to Rebuilding Together - the nation’s leading nonprofit, working to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize communities. They currently have earned over $6,000.00. Visit www.digdropdone.com to learn more.
So, get out there and plan ahead for a colorful Spring.  It's as easy as Dig, Drop, Done!

  1. I remember her, she used to be on HGTV a while back. I wondered where she went! I wish they would have shown more of what they did. I love bulbs too...I planted a bunch last year and would like to do some more this year. That's a cute name Dig, drop, done!

  2. I love bulbs, too! When I lived in California I had tons. Now...Arizona...so I went to the website and can't find where it says to pick my country. Am I dumb as a post? Or blind as a bat? I'm really hoping there is something I can plant here in this desert!
