You're Gonna Love It!

Happy few days before Thanksgiving dear friends!  Are you all ready?  It will be just Mr. B and me this year but, I am still going to be putting out a spread of all of the traditional fixin's with one new side dish that just could become a Thanksgiving "thing" for us.  We both love collard greens and, for a gal so far from the south, I make a mean mess of them so, we've decided to forgo the expected green beans, brussel sprouts or even creamed corn and go with a pile of greens as our veggie side. I can't wait!  We've also decided to NOT have any cranberry sauce or jellied.  I know...sacrilege right?  We both like cranberries but not enough t eat them over and over again for days. When we made the decision we looked at each other as if to say, we are all grown up, we can eat what we want now LOL! With new traditions unfolding, I am so excited to be spending the day in the kitchen. Seriously! Nothing makes me happier than the smells of the food this holiday brings!

Okay, before I drool for real over my keyboard, let's get back on track and get to partying!

It's Time For
The Features of the Week
The most viewed comes as no surprise once you see how it was achieved!
Amy from Her Tool Belt who has hands of steel and waaay more patience than I do, created the ultimate wooden snowflake! If you have not been over to see the finished product, go!  NOW!  And be prepared to ooh & aah!

My favorite link up from last week had me saying OMG for real!
I love these double sided holiday blocks from Home Crafts by Ali! I am so pinning and stealing creating some for my very own!

If you have been featured here, or over at my fabulous co-hort Kim's blog, (she has a different Pick of the Week so go check it out...was it you?) make sure to grab an I've Been Featured button here.

You're Gonna Love It Link Party~Where Have I Been

If you have been following me for awhile you know that something must be up because it is not like me to NOT be posting table decor, recipes or even a Wordless Wednesday here.  Well time to come clean my peeps.  As most of you know I have been out of work since last year.  It's been a looong year full of many challenges but we made it through to the other side.  A few weeks ago I accepted the position of Client Care Administrator for a local real estate company. I cannot even begin to tell you how much I am enjoying this job. Coming from a background of commissioned sales it is good to not have to worry about that.  My main focus with this job is to keep the ship running as tightly and calmly as I can. Having been a single mom, raising 2 sons on my own, I know I got this nailed LOL! I also will be in charge of the social media outlets for the company as well as their company blog.  Hmmm...I think I may have that nailed too ;-)

Anywho, until I feel more comfortable with this new phase of my life, I will not be posting as often here, but know that I am here and the You're Gonna Love It link party will be held every week just as it has been for the past 3 years! With the holidays coming up I NEED to see your creativity to get my juices flowing and to work myself out of this writer's block I seem to be in. Yes, in a nutshell, I need YOU! (Just as I always have).

So, what say we celebrate this news with a HUGE party this week??  As promised, I will have 2 favorites to share this week too!

It's Time For
The Features of the Week
The most viewed post that linked up last week is from Emily who blogs over at My So Called DIY Blog
This is the before of Emily's bonus room reveal. If you haven't already, you HAVE to head over to see the After of this amazing transformation!  Emily is one creative DIY'er!!

The first of my favs is from my guys over at the Crafty Lumberjacks
I luuurve how they used chalk to create this fun decor for Fall

My second pick comes from the gals that blog over at Two Chicks and a Mom
They not only created this cute "Thankful Banner" they also provided the free printables so I we can all have one for our own!

Welcome to the You're Gonna Love It Link Party!

My apologies, I am going to have to make this week's party short and sweet. This only happens to me about twice 5 times a year so I hope you will give me the pass I need this week!

It's Time For
The Features of the Week
The most viewed link from last week was one I am going to pin, print out and use all of the time!
Maria from The Crafty Owl compiled a very comprehensive list of Blog Post Ideas for those times when you just got nothing in the bank to share!

I will share 2 of my favorite links next week.

If you have been featured here, or over at my  co-host Kim's blog, (she has a different Pick of the Week so go check it out...was it you?) make sure to grab an I've Been Featured button here.

You're Gonnal Love It~November Anything Goes Edition!

Hi De Ho there all of my fabulous friends!  I just got done turning another page on the old calendar and I am in awe that we are IN November already!! Usually by this time my garden has been put to bed and we have seen at least a handful of snowy days.  Neither has happened yet!  I did go out and pick the last of the green roma tomatoes over the weekend in anticipation of freezing wet weather to come later this week.  This has to be close to the latest for us to see any snow or even freezing temps!  Not that I am complaining, seeings how we had such a cold and wet Spring leading to a late summer! How about you, does it feel like winter yet where you are?

A new month also means that it is time for Anything Goes this week at the link up party!  You can link up ANYTHING family friendly from Etsy shops to giveaways to recipes to tutorials!  Anything Goes means just that, ANYTHING GOES!  Let's get to getting!!

Last weeks most viewed link came from the gals from Crafts Al A Mode
They shared 32 Awesome Flannel Gifts to Make. I found at least a dozen that even I can make and the bonus is, just look for flannel shirts at your local thrift store to use for most of these!!

My pick of the week is this awesome acorn squash recipe from Lou Lou Girls
I have 2 reasons for picking this post for cooking acorn squash. One, it is almost identical to the way my mother made it and two, just before she left for AZ, my mother-in-law and I split an acorn squash for dinner (Mr. B is NOT a fan of squash (gasp)).  So, thank you Lou Lou Girls for all of the pleasant memories your post brought to me!

If you have been featured here, or over at my fabulous co-host Kim's blog, (she has a different Pick of the Week so go check it out...was it you?) make sure to grab an I've Been Featured button here.

Now, are you ready to party??
Feel free to link up anything you have created (recipes, decor, crafts, written or photographed). Anything you are so proud of you just gotta share it with others. It is the first Tuesday of the month so ANYTHING GOES!!  (Etsy shops, giveaways, contests.. you name it!)

You can follow Kim and I on social media, but it is not required. (We want you to follow us because you want to, not because you have to.)
