ic Kathe With an E: A Hot Mess Turned Into a Mighty Steed

Sunday, September 11, 2011

Oh Wow!!  He looks so much better already doesn't he?
After letting that dry for a bit, if a bit is 15-20 minutes, I grabbed one the blog worlds not so secret weapon of choice. TaTaTaDa!  Rustoleum Oil Rubbed Bronze.  ORB to those of you in the on the secret.  I  initially thought I might give him the go over with the blog worlds other not so secret weapon, Heirloom White or even stick with the black but ORB won out.
Look at him now!  Oh. My. Goodness!  I could not be happier with the change.  If he could, I just know he would shake his glistening mane, stomp his hooves, and snort with happiness.  His self-respect has been restored!

He will be placed prominently on a shelf in Mr. B's office.  He will be able to bask in the glow of adoration of all that lay eyes on him.  He is once again a Mighty Steed!

  1. Kathe - He turned out amazing. It is truly wonderful what a can or two of spray paint can do. He can certainly hold his head high where ever he goes.

  3. I'm glad you like it, lots of bloggers change headers by season. So that you don't have to continue staring at the green horse, I'll see about making you a fall one. I liked the kooky green tho. However it wouldn't have match anything in my traditional decor either.
