Devilishly Sweet Hillshire Farm Lit'l Smokies Recipe

This post was sponsored by Hillshire Brands™. As always all opinions are my own.
One of my favorites things about Fall is the gathering of friends and families. Whether it be to watch football games with the neighbors (Go Broncos) or a holiday dinner with Mr. B's mom, brother, nephew & niece. Fall just means fun times and food! If you are attending a party, throwing one of your own or, just need a something simple to snack on, these Devishly Sweet Lit'l Smokies fit the bill!

This post is sponsored by Mom It Forward and when I was asked to create a recipe using a product from the Hillshire Brands lineup and picked up at my favorite Safeway store, I knew exactly what I wanted to use as my main ingredient.

#BringHillshireHome! The cute Lit'l Smokies make the best protein filled base of the perfect party food!
Safeway Just 4 U

I am also thrilled to be sharing the J4U (Just 4 U) program with you. I signed up as soon as we moved into our new home and I made Safeway MY go-to store for groceries every week. It’s super simple and after a quick visit to the Safeway website, once you sign up, you can link your Safeway Club Card up with coupons and personalized deals that fit your grocery list.
Safeway Just 4 U
A couple of times a week they email me updates letting me know new deals have been added so I can go and digitally clip the Just for U coupon to my Safeway Club card. Another easy peasy way for me to save money on our grocery bill! And, bonus, this week there are several coupons for Hillshire Farm products so, I can make a snack and be happy knowing I saved a bit doing so!

Let's get snackin'!

Devilishly Sweet Lit'l Smokies
Adapted from BBC Good Food

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 package Hillshire Farm Lit'l Smokies Smoke Sausage
1/4 cup honey (I used local but any type works fine)
1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
katsup and mustard, to serve

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour the oil into a foil lined baking sheet and heat in the oven 3-4 minutes. Place the sausages onto the baking sheet and toss lightly in the hot oil.  Spread so that the sausages are not crowded together.

Bake 20-25 minutes or until browned and cooked through, turning once halfway through the cooking process.  Drain the sausages on paper towel and drain the oil from the baking sheet. Blend the honey and the Dijon mustard together in a medium bowl.  Add the sausages to the bowl and mix to coat them well.  Return the sausages to the baking sheet and return to the oven for 5 minutes. Serve hot or warm with katsup and mustard on the side for dipping.
