Spring China Cabinet

I was going to set my china cabinet up for St Patrick's day and then thought I do it up Easter.
In the end, I instead decided to go full on Spring.
/
I am soooo ready for Spring!  Rumor has it, after a blizzard yesterday, that we may see temperatures in the 70's by the end of the week!
Oh that would make my heart happy!
http:/
I started with a bright Spring plaid scrapbook paper to line the back of the cabinet with.
http:/
I then brought out my favorite Spring dishes. They are from American Living at JCP and were a Mother's Day gift from Mr. B several years ago.
I love the colors and the flowers.
/
I found a couple of plate racks at Bed, Bath & Beyond last week, on clearance, and they hold my smaller plates nicely.
/
The Noritake dessert plates were a birthday gift from my mother-in-law.
She knows I love anything with flowers and even more so if they are on plates!
/
I wanted to keep the cabinet clean and simple. Soon we will be starting
Spring cleaning and I am so done with clutter!
/
Spring is just around the corner and I can't wait for it to arrive!

I always share my tables with

  1. Oh Kathe this is so pretty. Love the plaid, and those small plates with hydrangeas. We had a snowstorm Friday (almost 5 inches) and Saturday was so gorgeous it was almost 60 and all gone. xo

  4. So Spring for sure. Great idea, lining the back like that. It really accentuates the dishes. I love anything floral too.
We are hanging out for some cooler weather as it's just so hot still at the moment.
Hard to believe we are all in the same World and the weather so different at the same time. It sure is getting hotter each year than the one before. x
