Almost Wordless Wednesday

My pal, Marlys, over at This and Thathas a fun link up each week called, Almost Wordless Wednesday, which is perfect for a Chatty Kathe like me!
I decided last week to extend the holiday weekend by one day.  I figured, after spending the weekend gardening (which I did and I will be sharing the results soon), I could treat myself to a pedicure and then take advantage of the warm day by lounging out on the back deck. It was long overdue that these winter white legs got some sunshine and color! (Check out my sandal tan I am already sporting!) Hot pink toes for a hot mama!

Like what you see?

  1. Kathe, I love this post. I have been on a blog vacation to try and get my house back in order. I wish I had thought of such a clever idea. I have had many moments over the last month where I just sat back exhausted and stared at the results of my work. The new flooring is still a month away and I have almost finished cleaning out from my garage flooding. Surely I can take a moment here and there to take a picture for a almost wordless post. Thanks for the inspiration! I needed a little push to get me started again..... Candy

  2. We did the same yesterday! Lil Man played in the backyard and I just relaxed for once. It was so nice. I can't believe we will be turning on the AC units soon. I want spring to be longer....

  3. My Memorial Day Weekend was pretty relaxing. I got to catch up on some much needed sleep and work on my blog posts.

I love your toe color Kathe and you gave me an idea of my next pedicure color!

  4. It's always great to relax and do nothing isn't it? It's so freaking hot here, I think I probably will get roasted if I step out into my balcony!

  6. There's nothing wrong with a four day weekend! Lounging by the deck sounds like an awesome way to spend any day. =0)

  7. Lounging is probably the only way I can keep my own stress levels from reaching maximum overload :) Glad you could take some time to yourself to recharge and refresh!
