Tidy Cats® Lightweight 24/7 Performance® Litter

This post brought to you by Purina. All opinions are 100% mine.

I'll admit, we are not cat people.  We lean more to dogs as pets, like Max who is the cutest puppy ever, am I right?
Look at that face - Max
It's not that we don't like our friend's cats. We do.  It's just that we don't want the maintenance involved in having a cat. Straight to the point,  we don’t want to clean the litter box.
Why would we want to? Getting the litter is a pain, the container is always super heavy, the box smells, the litter never clumps like it should and it’s just a major chore!
Then, I heard about Tidy Cats Lightweight 24/7 Performance Litter! It locks in moisture, has a powerful odor control strong clumps for easy clean up and the best part: the container is lightweight! It's no longer a struggle to lug the litter home. Think about it, a light weight litter would be ideal for elderly cat owners who might have a difficult time carrying litter around.
I just saw this commercial for the Tidy Cats Lightweight 24/7 Performance Litter last night and loved it!  Check it out for yourself:

So, tell me, have you tried Tidy Cats Lightweight 24/7 Performance Litter yet?? If so, tell me what you liked about it.

  1. Hi Kathe!

No i use Fresh Step and have for years. I have always been happy with it. I don't use the clumping kind cause i don't scoop........ My cat uses the litter box... I have one with a lid and filter on top...... for a week or week and a half then he gets all new litter...... This has worked remarkably well for me over the years.

I watched the commercial after you said you loved it and had you laughing but honestly i found it boring and dull....... uuugh... to each their own.. :) Hugs! deb

  2. Kathe! I ONLY use Tidy Cats...love that it neutralized odor. With 3 cats in the house...I am scooping constantly...and I like that the clumps make it quick cleanup.-aimee

  3. Hi Kathe,
I don't have cats anymore. :( So sad, and can't wait to get one again. When I did though all I used was tidy cats. It's wonderful at locking in odors. :) Maybe now that you have heard of tidy cats you will get a kitty of your own. ;)

  4. Great post!! I used to use Tidy Cats when we had one and it worked well. I would use it again but I've sworn to my kids we will never have a cat again-- I am too lazy to handle cleaning the liter box.

  5. I have had many cats over the last 20+ years, and we currently have three. We almost always use Tidy Cats. One of my kids have finally been willing to take over litter box duty. :)

  7. Not a cat person either, but I may take some of this over to my big grands house. They have a stinky cat...

  8. I have used Tidy Cats and find it works well. I like clumping litter for sure. After my daughter took care of Charlie including the litter box while I was gone, she said she had new respect for kitty parents! I'll check out the 24/7 next time I purchase.
